DON’T BE SORRY, BE DIFFERENT
Que Lindo Studio took this one further than a typical music video. We wrote the script, designed an original monster concept from scratch, and produced the whole thing for Medford artist Evening Shades start to finish. That meant building out a character and a visual world before a single frame was shot, then carrying that concept through casting, production, and edit. It's one of the more ambitious pieces we've built from the ground up.

Be Different" was a full production from the ground up for Que Lindo Studio. The team wrote the entire script for the video, developing the narrative that carries the song rather than simply illustrating the lyrics on screen. Evening Shades is a local artist from Medford, Oregon, and Que Lindo Studio came to him with a visually unique, "out there" monster idea.
Que Lindo Studio also designed and built a custom costume specifically for this piece, adding a visual element that couldn't be sourced or rented, something made to fit the story exactly as it was written. That level of hands-on production is what separates a music video from a short film, and "Be Different" was treated like the latter from day one.
Que Lindo Studio produced the entire piece start to finish: writing, costume design, filming, and the final edit, all done in-house. It's the kind of full-scope production the studio takes on when an artist wants something built specifically for their song rather than assembled from stock elements.
